Aditi Ganesh Ram

Publishing Coordinator

Aditi Ganesh Ram is currently studying secondary 2 (grade 8) in Bukit Panjang Government High School, Singapore.

Aditi has consistently distinguished herself as a student leader who excels in character, academics, and service and leadership. She has received multiple national-level recognitions by the Ministry of Education Singapore, including the Edusave Character Award (ECHA), awarded to the top 2% of students in each school who demonstrate exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and actions. Furthermore, she has received the Eagles Award, which honours leadership, service, and good conduct, as well as the Edusave Scholarships, presented to the top 10% of students who excel academically while maintaining good conduct. In addition, she has received the Edusave Merit Bursary for seven consecutive years, which serves as a testament to her consistency and perseverance, and determination to be the best she can.
From 2022 to 2023, Aditi served as the President of Student Council, where she championed initiatives, such as leadership quests for her juniors, and represented her school in public on several occasions. She also strived to make unknown voices heard and ensure that every student felt represented and supported. She was also actively involved in Project Athena, a tutoring startup created by students for students, where she contributes to her juniors’ academic improvements and successes by tutoring and mentoring them. These experiences reflect not only her commitment to personal excellence but also her passion for education, leadership, and uplifting others and encouraging their growth, and shaping herself into a well-rounded individual.
Planning ahead, Aditi intends to pursue law and criminology at the university level, with aspirations of exploring the intersection between law and psychology through her studies. Her long-term goal is to use her knowledge and leadership skills to advocate for justice and create impactful, lasting change.
Beyond academics and leadership, Aditi loves to wrack her brain by watching true crime shows and documentaries while crocheting, combining her creative self with a little bit of mental challenges. She also enjoys listening to music and catching up on TV shows, her long-time (possibly forever) favourites being Young Sheldon and Modern Family, which help her relax during her well-deserved breaks. Moreover, she learns classical Indian music in both vocal and instrumental forms, which nurtures her discipline, patience, and appreciation for artistic tradition and admiration for her culture.
She has a deep-rooted passion for debate, with the goal of opening up perspectives for people who are not receptive to new ideas and the points of view of others. She thrives on thoughtful discussion and believes that constructive dialogue can help broaden the minds of others and foster deeper understanding about current affairs.
She is recognised and appreciated for her respect, resilience, empathy, positive attitude, even in the face of challenges, and dedication to helping others. Her peers admire her not just for her achievements, but for her drive to make sure everyone’s voice is heard.
Aditi chose to join TheStudyEdge because she believes strongly in the mission of making education equitable and accessible for all. To her, educational equity means giving every student a fair chance, ensuring that students from underprivileged backgrounds have the same opportunities to succeed in school and in life as those with status or recognition. She firmly believes that saying “everyone has access” isn’t enough when many students face challenges like working two jobs on top of their already demanding educational commitments, lacking Wi-Fi access at home, or being unable to afford university prep classes. Equity is about actively closing the gaps. This is not by lowering the bar, but by providing accessible and free support, mentorship, and resources so that every student can reach their full potential. It matters because opportunities create change. With accessible guidance, students who were once overlooked can rise to become changemakers, lead, innovate, and positively impact the world.

Through TheStudyEdge, she hopes to contribute her skills in leadership, academics, and mentorship to help create meaningful opportunities for students globally. She is excited to collaborate with a community of like-minded changemakers and looks forward to supporting every student’s growth through her experience and effort.
