Carrie Joseph

Research Strategist

Carrie Joseph is an 11th-grade student at HILA in Liberia. She has served as a Student Ambassador and Class Representative, where she demonstrated leadership and collaboration. Carrie is actively involved in Book Club and her school’s basketball team, and she is a founding member of Her STEM Hub, an all girls STEM community soon to launch. She has also engaged with international programs such as Kode With Klossy, a free coding initiative for girls and gender-expansive youth, and has organized and participated in community projects including beach cleanups and orphanage drives. Recognized as Student of the Month, she is passionate about science, math, and philanthropy, and she aspires to pursue Electrical Engineering at the post-secondary level, combining her love for STEM with her commitment to helping others.

Beyond academics, Carrie enjoys digital and bullet journaling, Pilates, drawing, painting, watching YouTube videos, and listening to podcasts. She is passionate about engineering and coding, and has recently explored business concepts, diplomacy, and art. Friends describe her as funny, talkative, confident, Kpop lover, inspiring, and upbeat, and she loves connecting with others through meaningful conversations.

Carrie joined TheStudyEdge to help bridge educational gaps by sharing resources, mentoring peers, and creating opportunities for equitable access to quality education. She is excited to grow with the community this year and to contribute to expanding access to education worldwide.
